What is the 2D code printer?

2D code inkjet machine refers to the inkjet equipment used in two dimensional code printing. it was always called “QR code”printer. Currently, the inkjet machines commonly used in 2D code coding include: Laser inkjet printer, thermal foam inkjet printer, UV inkjet printer and part of continuous small character inkjet printer. 2D code (two-dimensional bar code) as a new information storage, transmission and identification technology, has been widely used in industrial production, two-dimensional code printing can make products or packaging with anti-counterfeiting, traceability, marketing and other roles.

QR code laser printer

Laser inkjet machine is the use of different lasers, the laser beam on the surface of a variety of different substances, through the light energy to make the surface material physical or chemical changes, so as to carve out patterns, trademarks and text and other permanent marking equipment. Common laser marking machines are fiber laser marking machine, CO2 laser marking machine, UV laser marking machine and so on.

The laser printer has no consumables, long life, can operate in harsh environments, and carry out permanent marking on various metal and non-metal surfaces, which can resist corrosion and prevent malicious tampering. The clarity of the 2D code produced by the laser inkjet printer is not as good as that of the high resolution inkjet printer, and the laser coding may cause damage to the surface of the printed object, affected by the material, the marking speed of some products is slower than that of the ink inkjet printer

Thermal foaming inkjet printer

Thermal foaming inkjet printer (TIJ type inkjet printer) nozzle using semiconductor film technology, the use of laser process and high precision deep technology to form a number of diameter of about 50μm spray holes, these spray holes are arranged in a high density, ink jet through the film resistor electricity heating, so that the ink produces countless tiny bubbles, bubbles at a very fast speed to gather into large bubbles and expand, To force a drop of ink out of a nozzle; When there is no voltage in the resistance, the heating is stopped and no ink droplets are emitted.

The initial investment of the thermal foam inkjet printer is low, but the cost of consumables is high in mass production, and in terms of printing quality, because the spray head must be close to the printing distance of the product, it is easy to be affected by the precision of the production line and the product.

Continous inkjet printer

The high-end small character inkjet printer manufactured by EC-JET is also able to print QR codes at high speed conveying lines. By resorts of high speed, low ink consumption and good compatibility, small character QR coder inkjet printer are being widely accepted by majority of industrial end-users.
